About the Author

Cveta Chydzinski was born in the Republic of Macedonia and immigrated to the United States in the 1990s. Growing up in Gary, Indiana, she was inspired by her hardworking mother, who always instilled in her the belief that "the sky is the limit." Cveta’s passion for the arts and poetry blossomed at a young age, drawing her to the beauty of words and the power they hold in shaping imaginations. She carried this love for creative expression throughout her life, always dreaming of one day writing children's books.

That dream came to life after the birth of her daughter, Aleksandra. Inspired by her daughter's spirit and curiosity, Cveta crafted a vibrant book series, with Aleksandra at its heart, to bring joy and wonder to young readers.

Cveta now lives in Colorado with her wife, Agata (Aggie), and their daughter Aleksandra. Together, they embrace the vibrant outdoor life that Colorado offers. The natural beauty surrounding them, combined with Cveta’s lifelong love of the arts, fuels her creativity and passion for storytelling. She is currently working on another children’s book, as well as a novel, continuing her journey of sharing her love of words and imagination with the world.
